The Yeshuines is an historical novel presently being written by your scribe, Jack Kilmon. The novel begins with the New Testament story and continues with the lives, adventures and fates of each of the twelve discip les as well as such personages as Mary Magdalene, Lazarus, Joseph of Arimathea, a sort of "what ever happened to..." account. The story is told from the perspective of the social, cultural and linguistic arena of first century Palestine. The novel is based on years of travel and research, "chasing" the apostles and incorporates history, tradition, legends of reasonable probability, and, of course, fictionalized accounts to "fill in the gaps." Approximately 70% complete, the Scriptorium will post the first chapters here and continue to "serialize" it as chapters are complete.
